It waits for you
The world pauses the moment the last person leaves, so waves never arrive at a base nobody is defending. Turn that off if you would rather your factory had to survive without you.
Feed your turrets with conveyor belts, then hold the map as the waves get worse. An open-source factory game that is at its best with a handful of friends defending one map together.
Up and joinable in about ninety seconds.
AT A GLANCE
The world pauses the moment the last person leaves, so waves never arrive at a base nobody is defending. Turn that off if you would rather your factory had to survive without you.
Press deploy and hand out the address. No config files to edit, no ports to forward, nothing for anyone else to install.
A Mindustry world is one small file. Park it, put another game in the slot, and pick it up later with the factory exactly as you left it.
Mindustry starts on a Standard Pass, and the dearer passes carry bigger maps and deeper waves.
THE PASS THIS GAME NEEDS
£6.99per month
A map with a full factory on it, eight of you defending it, and late waves. It costs nothing at all while nobody is on.
IF YOU WANT MORE
£9.99per month
Bigger maps and more of you on them, with the factory still keeping up when the waves get serious.
IF YOU WANT MORE
£16.99per month
The largest maps Mindustry makes, running flat out with nothing waiting on the server.
What you get to decide, and what each one changes. We set up everything else.
CHOICE
WHAT IT DOES
Pause when nobody is on
On unless you turn it off. The world stops while the server is empty, so the waves wait for you instead of overrunning your base.
Max players
Eight is what a private map plays best at. Ask for more and the form shows you how far it will go.
Message of the day
A line everyone sees as they join. Leave it empty and we use your server name.
Vanilla Mindustry, taken straight from the builds its developer publishes, with autosaving switched on from the first minute rather than left off the way the game ships it.
Mindustry has no server password, so anyone you give the address to can join. Nothing lists your server publicly, so the address is the only way in. Hand it to the people you want and nobody else.
Your world is written to disk every couple of minutes while people are playing, and we tell it to save once more before we park it, so what comes back is where you actually stopped.
Your map, its autosaves and your settings are kept. The game itself is not, because we fetch it again when you come back, so you never pay to store a copy of Mindustry.
Your server takes each new build while nobody is playing, so you get the newest one without an evening ever being cut short to install it.
