The colony runs itself
Your settlers farm, craft and defend on their own schedule, whether or not anyone is online. A server that stays up is how you come back to a town that got on with things.
Build a settlement, recruit specialists to run it, and raid dungeons and bosses with friends while it grows without you. Terraria-shaped, colony-sim underneath.
Up and joinable in about ninety seconds.
AT A GLANCE
Your settlers farm, craft and defend on their own schedule, whether or not anyone is online. A server that stays up is how you come back to a town that got on with things.
A settlement in full swing is still a small server, and it stays that way however long you play.
Necesse keeps each world in a single tidy file, so parking one takes very little room and picking it up again gives you back exactly what was there.
Necesse starts on a Standard Plus Pass, and a dearer one carries the same settlement further as it grows.
THE PASS THIS GAME NEEDS
£9.99per month

IF YOU WANT MORE

How many people can be in the world at once. Eight is comfortable, and your server will take more if you ask for it.

Set one and only the people you give it to can join. Leave it empty and anyone with the address can walk in.
Necesse’s own dedicated server, installed straight from Steam and kept exactly as the developers ship it.
Taken from your server name once and never changed, so your world is always where you expect it.
Both are kept for you. The game files are not, because Steam hands those back for nothing, so you never pay to store them.
Your server takes each new build while nobody is playing, so you get the newest one without an evening ever being cut short to install it.
