A town that grows while you sleep
The hard part is the first few minutes
Founding a province asks far more of a server than living in one does. We lend yours the extra power while it builds and take it back after, so it is never something you have to think about.
A spare save, kept for you
Romestead keeps the previous save beside the current one and falls back to it if the newest is damaged. We park both, so the safety net comes back with the town.
Which pass you need
Romestead needs the larger pass from the first minute. There is no lighter version of the game to put on a smaller one. One thing it cannot found is a large province, and that is what Premium adds.

Large provinces
The biggest map Romestead makes. Founding one asks for more memory than a Standard Plus can lend it, and living in it asks for no more than the others. A province keeps the size it was founded at, so this is the pass to be on before you found the next one.

How we set it up
The official dedicated server
Romestead’s own free dedicated server from Steam, set up by us and read end to end first.
We tell you which pass a choice needs
On a Standard Plus the large province is there and greyed out, with the pass that can found one named beside it. We would rather show you the limit than leave it quietly missing.
Parking keeps the town
Your world, its spare save and your settings are all kept. The game files come back from Steam when you return.
Updates land between sessions
Your server takes each new build while nobody is playing, so you get the newest one without an evening ever being cut short to install it.
Your province is ninety seconds away
Auto-renews monthly. Cancel any time; renewals are not refunded.
